Animal Facts - Cheetah

Cheetahs live in Africa. They are really fast. Cheetahs look just like leopards and jaguars. They eat small antelopes and gazelles - also impalas. They drink water from waterholes or rivers. Lions and hyenas can kill cheetahs. Little cheetah cubs drink milk from their mother until they're about six to eight weeks old. A cheetah can run up to 120 kilometres per hour.

Caged Animals

This is my writing about caged animals. I have a bunny, a lion and an eagle. They are really cute. In the love hearts it has what they would do if they were out of their cages. 

This is my maths

 

  I am on my 8 times tables because I finished my 4 times tables yesterday and I am so exited because I just moved on to my 8 times tables and also in the holidays i am going to practise some time tables in the holiday so I can get better and better at my time tables and on prototec i am up to stage 4 because I got to my time fast and I am so exited for the holidays to do some more learning on my maths and I am going to make sure I do my times tables in time.

Music with fran

 

Every week room 4 goes to fran we do violins and we also do lots of different things.

 

Some times we do fun things and fran puts on fun music to do with violins she does cool and funny songs some times we also do glockenspiel wich is fun like the violins and also some times we play the ukulele wich is fun basically all of the instruments are fun so thats why I like going to fran because we do lots of cool instruments we also do guitar and we also do piano and some of the songs we play are a bit hard and also some of the violins are a bit hard to play a the guitar and also the ukulele because it is a bit the the guitar and also we do pizzicato on the violins.

This is my Recount

 In the last two days my class room 4 was in room 3 because my teacher Whaea Annie was on camp with the year sixes I herd that the year sixes had really fun I wish I went. In room 3 it was fun the year fives were in room 3 our teacher was Whaea Kelsi.

  It was fun with Whaea Kelsi because the year fives did lots of cool thing like marble art it was fun because we got to cut out our letters so they were like stentiles and we got a blank peace of papper and we drew around the stentiles on a blank peace but they were our letters of our name.

  then the year fives did another peace of art and we got a big white peace of paper and then we got our other peace of marble art and glued it on and if we wanted a break we could read,draw,eat and I didnt really have a break because I just wanted to do my art work because I liked doing the marble art.

After the year fives finished the marble art we had morning tea and I liked the morning tea it was good we had a picolate and potato chicken wedges also broccoli that was good I didnt really eat all of it but it was still good and then after me and sadie teA and shilo we went on the bars and played for a little bit and then we left because the bell rang.

 When the bell rang we went back inside and we got to pick to draw or we got to pick read I picked reading because I like reading and  we also got to do our kaitiakitanga and then it was lunch time and we went back on the bars and played and done some tricks .

 Next me shilo sadie and te A just walked until the bell rang and After we done a little bit more of marble art and then we got to play paper scissors rock and we liked it we played it like room 4 vs room 3.

This is my Writing about lockdown

In Lockdown It was so fun. Home was a bit different from school because there was no bells that rang. We did online meetings instead of doing the roll at school, but we did the roll on the meeting and we got to choose what to do and when to do it and that was fun. I did a lot of maths at home in my book and on my chrombook because I love it.

Home school was different than school because we went on our chromebooks and we went on the class website like we did at school. I miss my friends because I couldn’t go to my friends house because we were in lockdown. It was so sad. I also missed Whaea Annie because she is our teacher and I miss her teaching us. I also missed doing art at school with my friends and Whaea Annie. I missed playing on the playground with my friends and my cousin. I also liked doing kahoots,quizzes,riddles and jokes on the meeting. And we got to do our work in any order witch wasn fun. I also made a Chocalate Chip banna cake that was good and taste so good I like the Chocalate Chip they were good and I made it with my cousin. I also made some playdough with my mum and the playdough is really good and the coulor is white and I play with it every day and I love it i make a lot of stuff with it.

I also read some blogs and they were really good. I also did some commenting on some blogs. I did some blogging. It was fun because I like doing blogging because I like sharing my learning and what I do. You also didn’t need to do any work but I choose to do some work because I like doing work. My favourite subject is maths. I felt so excited to be back at school.

The Tuna Life Cycle

 

Tuna Eel Life cycle

There are six different stages in the Tuna eels life and I will tell you what they are.

The egg hatches at the end of the ocean and becomes larvae.

The larvae need to get to the spot where he needs to be and that is land the larvae 

uses the ocean current to float to land.

 Next when they have hatch they become glass eels.

Then when they reach breeding size there body changes like the colour of there bellies and the shape of there head.

Next get new abilities like them climbing a waterfall.

Finally when they become adults there bodys become bigger and fatter after many years living in freshwater they go to salt water.

My basic facts

 

The girl and the giraffe

She knew leaving me was going to be hard because we were as close as glue stuck together. I was as tall as a bus because I am a giraffe. My friend had to let me go back to my family. I was as quiet as a mouse for a moment. I didn’t want to go. Teardrops dripped from her face like rain falling from the sky. When she let me go I quietly went back to my home in the savanna

The Olympics

 I'm at the Olympics. I got an email saying that I would be in New Zealand’s gymnastics team. I said yes! So I went off to NZ gymnastics and started practicing with them. I already knew how to do some of it so they said “Should we perform tomorrow?” and I said yes.

 Today was the day that we performed at the Olympics. There was a big crowd looking at me and my team. It was fun and at the end, when we finished our performance I got to go on to the podium. It was fun and I came first and our team won gold. I was proud and excited for my team that we won gold. I was actually surprised that they gave us gold. I felt so excited, like I was on cloud 9!

Holiday Writing

 In the holidays I went to Paraparaumu Pools with my Aunty Melissa,my mum Aleisha, my brother Tangiiau, my sister Rangimarie and my Anahera Harata Kaziah. My cousin Kaziah, friend Harmoney also came to the pools because we invited them. When we went there I went straight on the hydro slide with my little cousin Harata. It was fun and me and Harata were going so fast. And after that I went in the little pool with my baby sister Rangimarie and I played with her for a little bit and then my brother Tangiiau had to play  so I could go in the pool to play with my cousins. And after that we went back to my mum and aunty to have some pizza. There was Pepperoni pizza a Cheese pizza and also a Pineapple pizza. They were so good. And after the pizza we had a drink of fizzy and water.  After my drink I went in the big pool with my cousin my brother and my cousins friend. I told my brother and my cousins to come in the pool so they could play with me in the pool.  I was teaching my cousin Anahera how to do a front flip and I was also teaching Anahera how to do a back flip and teaching Tangiiau how to do a front flip and back flip because they didn’t know how to do it so after I was teaching them we just keeped doing but then we got board so we just went on the hidro slide. And after that we went in the other pool with my little sister Rangimarie and we played with her for a little bit until she had to get out while I was there I saw my friend Destiny. When I was playing with her, we went in the big pool we were playing tag in the pool because we were getting to bored.

What is Wind?

 

In the Holidays I stayed with my dad

 In the holidays me and my brother went to my dad’s and aunty’s house in Manakau.  I stayed at my dad’s house for four nights. It was fun because we went for a walk. We also saw some trains and that was my first ever time being close to a train. We went to the park and the pine forest. I did some colouring in and  I played on the trampoline with my brother and my cousin's.
